Andzej Gavriss is a multi-award-winning director originally from Northern Europe - Latvia. He graduated from the University of Audio Visual Arts in 2015, and has since cultivated a strong body of work that showcases his incredible appetite for experimental filmmaking.

Andzej's work has been showcased at The Centre Pompidou, the Summerhall Edinburgh exhibition, Panorama Berlin gallery and Brown University to name a few.

Gavriss work has won a Gold for Director of the year at Shots Awards, Silver for Direction at Cannes Lions 2022, Bronze in Film at Cannes Lions 2022, Silver at Cannes Lions 2020-2021, Gold for Direction at CLIO, Grand Prize at CLIO, Gold Screen at YDA 2020, Graphite & Wooden Pencil for Direction at D&AD, Winner at UKMVA and Webby Awards, best cinematography in themusic video at Camerimage, Gold for Direction at One Club, been nominated several times at Raindance, San Diego International Film Festival, Rhode Island International Film Festival and many other festivals.

Gavriss joined Ciclope Festival 2021 as a speaker to showcase his work and share a breakdown of his craft. In 2022, the director joined the Clio Music Festival as a jury member in the music video category, and in 2023, he became the YDA jury chair. Andzej is a keen traveler, now based between LA and Berlin and shooting projects internationally.
